Fujian Shuikou Hydropower Station in Fujian Province is the largest hydropo wer station,which installed capacity of 1.4 million kw.Its crest portal cranes I ocated outlet dam crest,the design specification is 2 × 160/32 Dun-way gantry crane.Crest gantry machine is special equipment,from years of working outd oors running and running daily heavy door gradual emergence speed governor system difficulties,precision dropout.In this paper outlet dam gantry crane sp eed control system.the use of inverter technology,programmable logic controll er(PLC)technology and touch screen control technology for the transformation of applied research gate rotor string resistance velocity modulation variable vo Itage and frequency.The main contents are as follows:1?To discuss the portal cranes's operating agencies and load characteristic s,introduce several mainstream induction motor drive method.2?In order to improve the reliability of electronic control system for Shui kou hydropower station crest portal cranes,combined with the Shuikou Hydrop ower Station gantry machine,and the transformation of the general requirement s for the project technical standards,using frequency converter to transform the movement mechanism,analyzed the frequency transformation feasibility,put fo rward the overall scheme for variable frequency speed control system of water gate slobber power plant.3?According to the actual demand of the technological transformation proj ects,the dam crest gantry crane inverter selection analysis,analysis of the mai n structure of the selected SIEMENS inverter,inverter frequency control system of gantry crane for equipment selection and configuration design of the main lifting motor are selected,and the frequency control system of main hoisting b rake resistance analyzed and calculated.4?The program will be given in the implementation,design PLC and inve rter control unit hardware chart,main hoist the main circuit diagram.Finally,t he governor of the entire system test and debug,and gives the main parameter s of the drive set up,maintain and instructions.5?The actual project implementation of the variable frequency speed cont rol system of the gate of the hydropower station is discussed.The whole syste m is tested and debugged,and the main parameters of the converter are set up and maintained.Application of frequency variable control system design of VVVF,the ope ration mechanism in starting,braking and shifting process is continuous and s mooth without impact,especially in the low level operation of sensitive reactio n,has obvious energy-saving effect than traditional series resistance speed,safe ty and work efficiency greatly improves the system.
