With the development of economy and society and the rapid growth of power demand,the application of power cable in urban distribution network is more and more widely.The key factor of the safe operation of the cable is the good degree of the cable insulation and the uniformity of the electric field inside the cable.But if the bending radius of the cable is less than the specified value,which may lead to damaging the internal structure and external cable insulation damage.It may also cause the cable insulation breakdown and cause a fire,eventually lead to major accidents,causing huge economic losses.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to effectively detect the cable bending in laying and running process in accordance with the national standards.Under the support of the project of science and technology Quanzhou Co.Ltd.in Fujian Province,handheld cable curvature measuring instrument is developed,and we evaluate the detection performance of the instrument in the Institute of research on quality inspection of products in Fujian province.This paper mainly introduces the theoretical analysis of the measuring instrument for the cable bending degree and the measuring instrument hardware module selection,which include circuit board drawing,device design and the design of software system,and device for measuring accuracy test.The laser range sensor measurement noise,in the first part,we use kalman filter to estimate the laser measurement data,and then analyze the cable curvature measurement calculation method,the effectiveness of different stages of calculating cable curvature based on particle swarm optimization and five point Hermit interpolation algorithm is discussed.The hand-held device module includes the hardware module and software module device,the hardware structure of the whole device is mainly composed of ranging module,image processing,display and storage,cell selection,the core control board circuit design appearance and design of the device and other functional modules,and in this paper the corresponding hardware selection is described in detail,such as CAD design and production,the appearance of the core components of the circuit principle diagram and PCB drawing device,providing complete solution;The software part discusses the programming flow of each function module and How to edit in Keil uVision 5 development environment.In the end,the quality of the portable cable bending measuring instrument is tested.The results show that the instrument can work normally and measure accurately.The main innovation of this paper is to design a portable handheld cable bending measuring instrument,gauge measuring method compared with the traditional measurement can show results clearly and quickly,and the measurement precision is higher.
