Automobile brake pedal,whose performance directly affects the safety of the car,is the key component of the automobile braking system.Therefore,CAE analysis method is widely used in the process of research and development to ensure the reliability of the automotive brake pedal by the related enterprises.The products of automobile brake pedal has the characteristics of similar structure,various series and so on,and it shows a high degree of repeatability,low efficiency and other outstanding issues in the the actual process of research and development.In order to solve these problems,the optimization design system of the automobile brake pedal based on HyperWorks,which achieves the convenience and reliability of the optimization design of the automobile brake pedal,is developed in this paper through the analysis of the finite element analysis of the brake pedal in depth.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.According to study the application status of CAE technology at home and abroad in the development and design of brake pedal,the feasibility of the development of the automatic optimization design system based on HyperWorks secondary development is analyzed.2.Through analysis of the structure characteristics of the automobile brake pedal and the finite element analysis process of automobile brake pedal,confirm the best parameter process of each step and then get the reasonable simulation analysis standard of the automobile brake pedal,which would provide the basis for the process design of brake pedal system optimization design.3.According to the analysis of the structural optimization design process of the brake pedal,the system template which is based on the HyperWorks secondary development design process automation system is studied and constructed,which includes the pre-processing system module and the post-processing module.Through the preparation of a large number of script program to achieve the automatic processing of various sub functional modules for a variety of repetitive operations,the system could greatly improve the efficiency of the work.4.Combined with the finite element analysis and structural optimization of a certain type of automobile brake pedal assembly,the results of this study are verified.The results show that the automatic optimization design system developed in this paper has high integration and automation functions,can not only standardize finite element analysis in the pre-processing and the post-processing,to guide the engineer set in accordance with the steps of the finite element analysis calculation and analysis results of the check,and the operation time is reduced sharply in pre-processing,improve the work efficiency.This paper combines with the actual technical requirement of enterprises,study and develop the automobile brake pedal optimization design process automation system based on HyperWorks secondary development,greatly improve the level of the enterprise application CAE technology and the efficiency of CAE analysis.At the same time,the method and process of HyperWorks secondary development based on the research of this paper has certain reference value and directive significance to the research and development of similar products.
