| With the increasing amount of vehicle holdings, customers put forward more acquirements for reliability and comfort. How to improve the brake pedal feeling has been regarded as a method to resolve comfort issues from the viewpoint of individual component design in brake system. As a current effective approach, modeling a brake system and the optimizing of design parameters have been extensively used in the brake system pre-design and tuning.Based on an actual vehicle development, this article study the influence of brake pedal feeling with brake system components and different environment, and analyzing and optimizing the characteristic of brake pedal feeling. And get the better result. One hand this study is using the Simulation X software to build and calculate the brake model for the separating aim of system into the sub-system and parts. Through adjusting the different parameter of brake components, finally received an ideal brake pedal curve. On the other hand the study is to compare the brake pedal feeling among benchmark and original vehicle and tuning vehicle with test equipments of brake system,then make the optimizing aim of brake pedal feeling. It is worth mentioning that this paper offers a reference to the brake pedal characteristics in extreme circumstances which has less research in the field. |
