As the key part of the aircraft,the total life cycle performance management has become a hot issue in aviation industry and academia in China and abroad.From the current research direction of global academic,there are many studies on the total life performance management of fix-wing engines,but the study on the total life of the helicopter engine is still less.The characteristics of a gyroplane's onboard engine are:the output power is transmitted through the torque of the mechanical shaft,the overhaul cycle is less than the fix-wing engine,and the performance degradation trend is more obvious in the use cycle,so the whole life of the helicopter engine performance analysis research is of particularly important.This thesis focuses on S76C series helicopter loaded ARRIEL 2S series engine performance characteristics,established the parameters to represent the trend of performance degradation,by choosing appropriate mathematical methods to deal with data and fitting model performance index of the recession,combine with more than 10 years running experience of same fleet,make practical measures to guide the maintenance work,such as monitoring engine performance decline rate,for the engine who's recession rate out of limit issued check card,engine overhaul time prediction,etc.The results show that the performance curve of the engine has a high guiding effect on the calculation and prediction of the residual life of the engine before the overhaul,and it is applied in the practical work.
