With the rapid and continues development of economy in our country,because of the light self-weight,material uniformity,accurate and reliable stress calculation,simple manufacture,high degree of industrialization,convenient transportation and installation,materials province,but also advantages of convenient sampling of light steel residential structure,which has obtained the fast development.In the background of relative surplus of steel production,light steel residential structure retain conservation of resources and sustainable development that in response to the requirements of the "saving" society,which is ushered in the opportunity for the development of future large.Although the light steel structure has the advantages above,however,in the snow wind and other extreme weather,compared to other structure building light steel structure construction was more prone to damage.The damage of light steel structure building is the overall damage which due to the failure of retaining structure.The roofing system is an important role in light steel structure building palisade structure,the construction cost of light steel structure is about 30%40%of total construction cost.And the construction cost of purlins steel is about 55%the amount of steel roofing system,which is important component in light steel structure,stability and bearing capacity of purlins can directly affect the stability and bearing capacity of light steel structure.Improve the stability and bearing capacity of purlins plays an important role in raising the overall stability of light steel structure building.Changing purlins connection way,make more strengthen between the purlins and roof plate connection,and make full use of the roof slabs purlins constraint function,through this way can enhance the stability and bearing capacity of purlins.In this article,through the new connection purlins mechanical performance test,there got the conclusion as follows:the new type of purlins connection can improve the bearing capacity,stability and stiffness of purlins,and promotion effect of each new wave purlins attachment is better than the new wave connection.In the test condition which is purlins span is 4m,purlins spaces is 1.5m,purlins section is Z100-40-20-2,each new wave compared to the original attachment can improve bearing capacity of purlins by 50%,new wave insulation of purlins connection can improve bearing capacity by 25%compared with the original connection.The mechanical properties of new type connection purlins has been made the finite element numerical simulation,through this method the further research has been done and a conclusion has been shown below,Under the condition of other things being equal,from the view of the promotion effect of the bearing capacity and stiffness,which has the thinner thickness of a new connection purlins is better than the others.Promotion effect on carrying capacity and rigidity of the new purlins connection which has lower height can be better under the same conditions.Promotion effect on carrying capacity and rigidity of the new connection purlins is better than each wave new separated of the new connection,but with the increasing of span and interface height of purlins,there has little dif-ference between the promotion effect on carrying capacity and rigidity of the new connection purlins than each wave new separated of the new connection.According to the result of finite element numerical simulation,this paper presents a new type of connection purlins modular form,corresponding new connection purlins can be choose according to the identified roof load and span roof of pitch and purlins.Suggestions of the new connection purlins design can be provided in this paper.At the same time under the same conditions and according to the existing design methods selected purlins were compared,the new connection steel purlins can reduce the amount of 14.05%on average.
