With the development of 5G communications technology and the maturity of unmanned driving technology,people expect the vehicular network to do more than just sharing safety data of surrounding vehicle,since they are eager to engage in communication and entertainment when driving out.Therefore,the next generation of vehicular network will not only be able to share the safety information between the surrounding vehicles,but also provide broadband multimedia services,including the integrated car sharing,advertising information,video calls,monitoring and transmission.As a part of broadband vehicular network structure,broadband vehicular ad hoc network features in low delay,networking flexibility,and technology maturity.Therefore,this paper targets at its network characteristics and studies two main key technologies-routing protocol and MAC layer technology,in order to solve problems like high loss rate,low reliability,and low throughput problems of the broadband multimedia services in broadband vehicular ad hoc network transmission.On the basis of studying structures and application of broadband vehicular ad hoc network,this paper profoundly studies two problems.One is that the traditional mobile ad hoc network routing protocol fails to adapt to a network of highly mobility and dynamic topology changes.The other is that existing routing protocol do not meet the demand of the broadband multimedia business quality of experience.Besides,on the basis of continuous communication and stable link,the paper proposes the Link Stability QoE Routing(LSQR),so as to meet the need of QoE.And simulation result shows that LSQR gets less packet loss rate and better visual quality than DSR and CAVD.The collision rate of acentric competition source in the IEEE 802.llp standard draft of the MAC layer in the Dedicated Shorted Range Communication(DSRC)increases with the increasing nodes.In order to solve this problem,a cluster-based TDMA resource allocation scheme(CB-TDMA)is proposed.And the simulation results show that this scheme can achieve more average throughput than the IEEE802.11p when the vehicle nodes increase.One further study will focus on improvement in MAC IEEE 802.11p to achieve the network optimum.The other will be the employment of DSRC physical technology.Python programming language will be used to design and realize the main functional modules of broadband vehicular ad hoc network,and scenario experiments will be taken to verify the feasibility of the scheme,and to optimize the broadband vehicular network.
