The Study Of Urban Public Space Based On Space Syntax In Hill Cities

Rapid urbanization bring about new opportunities for urban development,urban increasing size of the function is even more perfect But during this process,the public space was used as a "showcase" project in the city.Instead of as a place for ordinary citizens in public life and take activities.Due to the differences in the quantity and quality that leads to differentiation of living space,it reflects the larger "social exclusion" in the operation.In order to solves urban issues of the process of urbanization in the presence,countries have raised the need to implement innovation,coordination,green,open,shared concept of development,so that the people have in sharing more get a sense of reasonable planning and construction of squares,parks recommended walking trails and other public activities in space.The urban public space in hilly city are analyzed.in the overall urban level by the space syntax theory and methods.The space Syntax is an auxiliary tool,it can using in urban design and it has a certain scientific rationality.It also uses the syntax model to analysis the relationship between space indicators and actual ac tivity.Then discover the laws of urban space and objectively reflected.It also has some social significance and objectivity.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter,it describes the paper's research background,summarized the purpose and significance of study,a detailed analysis of relevant research at home and abroad and proposed research methodology,framework systems,and in last defining the relevant concepts.The second chapter distinguish the theoretical foundation and conceptu al of space syntax,then understand it segmentation methods,the expression of space and the morphology variable.And analysis the software of space syntax,also describes the steps to build the model.And then introduced the space syntax in urban planning application.The third chapter established the syntactic evaluation model,for this purpose.First,from the hilly city characteristic factors,the basic characteristics and significance about public space elements components,structure of matter,public space construction conditions in the hilly city,it has analyzed public space in the hilly city through these areas.Then,it analyzes the space syntax in the public space factors and indicators in the hill city.Again,discussed the public space adaptability by the space syntax.in the hilly city.The fourth chapter has proposed the optimization measures,the goals in hilly city space by syntax space theory is for: create a recognizable public space,create a public space with a sense of security and boot up a continuous distribution of public space.In order to achieve this goal,in the paper from the space syntax between urban imagery and spatial cognition links.Then combined with the hilly city's characteristics and proposed the urban space optimization measures in hilly city.Chapter fifth use of the space syntax model for analysis of an actual cases in HengyangFinally,the article overview summarizes the main content of the thesis,pointed out the need to further improve the content.
