Our country is vast in territory and complicated in terrain and because of the complex hydrogeological conditions of those regions where the highway pass by,the highway subgrade is constantly damaged during the flood season every year,which brings serious threatens to the safe operation of the highway.The damaged subgrade can not always be recovered on time because of many factors,the temporary measures can not work with the later design of repair in organic,which causes a loss of manpower、materials and finance.This article has put forward a retaining structure which can do fast restoration for the damaged subgrade based on the features of the damaged subgrade,and has combined research methods such as theoretical analysis and numerical modeling to finish the basic research for the related mechanism,and to form the packaged technology for the fast restoration of the damaged subgrade.The main research contents and results as follows:1.By studying the riverside highway in the southwest mountainous area,I have summarized and analyzed the genetic mechanism for the riverside highway damaged by the flood,and has classified the different damages,and has provided the fundamental basis for the flood damage prevention and restoration after the disaster.2.We have done an adaptive analysis for the use of the retaining structure to the fast restoration aiming at the features of the fast repair for the riverside highway subgrade,and has put forward the use of gabion retaining wall or reinforcement retaining wall to the fast restoration,and to provide guides for the fast restoration of the damaged subgrade by the flood.3.Under the theory of strength reduction,we have done analysis of the mechanical mechanism and global stability for the reinforcement box-type retaining wall by using the ABAQUS finite element software.The stability analysis of the different rib distance and wall height shows that:when the height remains the same,the rib distance smaller,the whole stability better.when the height is 6m and 8m,the suggesting distance between the wall to be 3m when refill the box,height over 10m can not meet the requirements of whole stability when refill the box-4.On the basis of the design computing method for the normal gravity retaining wall,I have worked out the one for the reinforcement box-type retaining wall,and also have done a brief technology introduction to the use of it to the repair of the subgrade damaged by the flood.
