The Research On Green Design For Residence For The Elderly In Guangzhou

This paper is researching on green design for residence for the elderly in Guangzhou based on China's entry into the aging of the population situation.The innovation point is that the green design concept to implement in the architectural design.This paper through three aspects including building design,building components and appropriate technology to explore suitable for the old people's physical and mental characteristics of healthy life.First of all,this paper is studying the practice of the residence for the elderly at home and abroad to understand the optimum depth.Then we study from aspects of the elderly physical,psychological and behavior characteristics to analysis the elderly's demand for environment and the problems should be considered.And we use the photographed observation way to research the architectural design,interior space,outdoor environment,such as energy saving technology of the green residence,the residence for the elderly and the green residence for the elderly in China,after that we can found and summarize the problems and advantages of case housing.Finally,we analyze the characteristic of the Guangzhou region geography,humanities,climate to master the needs of old people in Guangzhou through the questionnaire survey.We combine with the actual situation of Guangzhou city,from the residential location,layout,residential public space,the building public spaces,residential interior space a few aspects to summarize the green design for residence for the elderly in Guangzhou,we want to provide a realistic basis of the green design for residence for the elderly in Guangzhou.
