With the development of economy,the increasing number of vehicles result in increased oil consumption,the environmental problems caused by the car becomes more and more serious.For these reasons,the EV have become an important development goal for many famous auto companies,because of the electric vehicles have so many advantages,such as zero pollution,low noise,high energy efficiency,energy diversification,easy maintenance,etc.Therefore,improving the performance levels of EV has become an important direction of national efforts.Pure electric car is a complicated systematic project,is a high-tech projects involving multiple disciplines.There is no mature development process of EV currently,so current development of electric vehicles is mainly based on a modification of conventional cars.Because electric vehicles need to meet many performance indicators,such as maximum speed,acceleration time,gradeability and the mileage.Therefore,the development of EV needs to go through rigorous matching,simulation and experimental verification.Relying on the requirements of the company’s pure electric bus project,I have finished a series of prototype development work,such as power matching,component testing,vehicle performance simulation and prototype testing.The main contents are summarized as follows:1.This thesis firstly discussed the importance of the development of electric vehicles by consulting literatures and then summarized the current situation of EV at home and abroad,introduced the basic structure and merits and faults of electric bus.Finally,I briefly introduced several automatic transmissions.2.Compared several common electromotors and batteries in order to choose the excellent performance components for electric bus.Decide to use the multi-gear transmission system by calculating the acceleration performance of the car with fixed-speed or multi-gear transmission.Afterwards,the powertrain was designed and selected reasonably by the theoretical method.3.The simulation model of the vehicle was built and simulated by using the ADVISOR,which was an advanced simulator for electric vehicle.As to the limitation of the software which can only simulate the front drive vehicles,ADVISOR was redeveloped.The simulation results showed that the powertrain was rational.4.Firstly,I made some validation analysis about the battery,motor and gearbox along the direction of the vehicle power transferring.Afterwards,we did a lot of experiments to verify the reliability of the AMT system.Finally the rationality of simulation model and the correctness of the designed parameters of the powertrain were verified by real vehicle tests.
