| With the serious environmental problems,the relationship between human and nature has become a key issue in our times.Green governance as a new concept is put forward because of the limited effect of single subject’s green action on environmental governance.Green governance requires government,enterprises,social organizations and citizens to actively do what they could and what they should to establish a governance mechanism based on horizontal and vertical collaboration.And enterprises are the most critical actors in green governance.The iron and steel industry is one of the most important industries of China’s national economy,and it is also a highly polluting and energy-intensive industry.In recent years,under the background of ecological civilization construction,the proportion of energy consumption in iron and steel enterprises has been reduced,and the emission of pollutants has been controlled.Green management of iron and steel enterprises has achieved obvious effect.Based on the concept of green governance,this paper takes Taigang Stainless Steel Co.,Ltd as an example to analyze how it conduct green governance.Firstly,this paper summarizes the company’s green governance measures from three aspects,including green system designing,production engineering projects,and green technology innovation.Secondly,based on the data of various environmental performance indicators,this paper analyzes the effect of green governance of Taigang stainless.Finally,this paper explores the problems that may arise in green governance practice,and puts forward some suggestions.Since 2006,Taigang stainless has promoted the concept of green development in the whole process,and in 2016,it has promoted the upgraded version of green governance.However,compared with the earlier stage,the later effect of green governance of this company appears more slowly.This is mainly affected by factors such as the increasing difficulty of technological innovation,and governance costs. |
