In recent years,with the rapid development of fiber filter rod molding technology in international tobacco industry,the application technology of filter rod molding machine in China has been improved and perfected.By upgrading the KDF2 filter rod forming unit,the filter rod of exploding ball was successfully developed.However,it is urgent to solve the problems such as the missing of the beads,the broken beads and the position deviation in the filter Rod.In this paper,an on-line non-destructive monitoring and eliminating system is designed for KDF2 exploding filter rod forming machine.The defects of the filter rod are found in advance by means of non-destructive testing under the premise of keeping the product intact,and it can effectively eliminate the defective filter rod.At first,the paper introduces the production technology of exploding ball filter rod and the testing method in common use at present,at the same time,combining with the existing rejection system of KDF2 exploding ball filter rod forming machine,the online monitoring and rejection system of exploding ball filter rod is designed on this basis.In order to realize the real-time on-line monitoring of filter Rod,the system is mainly composed of photoelectric sensor module,industrial camera and Lens,power module,PLC module,light cover shell,remote host computer and so on.In this paper,the function design and equipment selection of each module,the design of PLC control system and software programming of each part,and the design of man-machine interface for monitoring.According to the rejection system of the existing KDF2 filter rod forming unit,the design of the rejection system of the blasting bead filter rod is carried out,and the on-site debugging and production operation are carried out.The results show that the on-line non-destructive monitoring and eliminating system designed in this paper can run in real time and reliably,effectively solve the problems of bead shortage and position deviation,and effectively eliminate the unqualified filter rod,shorten the period of quality inspection,the utility model realizes the purpose of reducing cost and increasing benefit.
