The manufacturing and assembly process planning of spare parts plays an important role in its whole life cycle,especially the assembly process,which has a great impact on product quality and production efficiency as the final link of product development.The traditional manufacturing assembly mode has good standard and standardization,but it is also easy to cause the process information of parts and its 3D model to be stripped off,thus restricting the assembly precision and efficiency of products.With the rapid development of digitization and intelligentization in the manufacturing industry,the development and application of MBD technology provides efficient and accurate data transmission for assembly process design and makes it possible to realize the full 3D digital development of products.In view of the shortcomings of MBD technology in assembly process design,this paper studied MBD based 3D assembly process expression and visualization methods,and developed a prototype system for experimental verification.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper analyzes the model-based definition technology management method,defines the product manufacturing information and assembly information based on MBD,constructs the MBD-based part process information model and assembly process model,realizes the visualization of MBD process information model,and builds the MBD-based 3D assembly process model on this basis.Secondly,through research and analysis typical ontology construction method,combined with the particularity of assembly process ontology,based on the seven-step method and Methontology method,an improved seven-step method was proposed for assembly process ontology construction,building ontology model tree,and complete the assembly process of the ontology based on OWL language document expression,implement assembly process structured formal ontology.Thirdly,the BOM mapping method of each view in the product life cycle is analyzed,and a BOM structure mapping method based on matrix transformation is proposed.Combined with the BOM attribute mapping mechanism,the structure mapping from EBOM to PBOM is completed by mapping the structural information and attribute information in the BOM,and the whole process mapping from EBOM to PBOM is realized.Finally,the design and implementation of the MBD 3D assembly process system is completed.Based on the Creo 3D design platform and the Pro/Toolkit secondary development environment,product manufacturing information labeling technology,3D animation generation technology,and assembly method symbolization technology realize the 3D assembly process prototype system,and the assembly process of the reducer is used as an example to verify the feasibility of the system.To sum up,this paper studies the 3D assembly process based on MBD expression and visualization technology,the 3D assembly process model building and assembly process visualization technology has carried on the deep discussion,put forward the practical,build efficiency faster method of building ontology,3D assembly process to establish a set of MBD prototype system,realized the 3D full expression of assembly process and process visualization,raise the level of the digital product assembly process.
