The Influence Of The Background Characteristics Of Senior Management Team On The Green Technology Innovation Of Enterprises From The Perspective Of Heterogeneity

The requirement of high quality development makes environmental protection more and more popular,and all stakeholders also put forward higher requirements for environmental protection.As one of the important sources of pollution,enterprises have received more attention,and stakeholders have put forward higher requirements for the green development of enterprises.The characteristics of high consumption and high pollution in manufacturing industry make it get more attention in environmental protection.In order to meet the environment al protection requirements of stakeholders and ensure the competitive advantage of enterprises,the primary problem of manufacturing industry is to improve the level of green technology innovation.Executives are the main decision-makers of corporate strategy,and their awareness of environmental protection to a certain extent guides the direction of green development of enterprises.Accordin g to the upper echelons theory,the background characteristics of senior managers can reflect their cognitive level.Therefore,this study takes manufacturing industry as the main research object,and analyzes the impact of the background characteristics of manufacturing executives on green technology innovation.First of all,this study combed the relevant domestic and foreign literature,further defined the relevant concepts,and briefly analyzed the research status in related fields,explained the existing problems in the existing research,and laid the foundation for the subsequent research.Then,through the collection of enterprise related data and information,using Eviews statistical analysis software,this paper verifies the relevant research hypotheses,explains the relationship among the background characteristics of senior management team,senior management incentive and enterprise green technology innovation.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)in state-owned ente rprises,the average age of senior managers has a negative impact on the level of green technology innovation;(2)the higher the proportion of female executives in the top management team is,the higher the level of green technology innovation is;(3)the higher the average educational level of the senior manage ment team is,the higher the green technological innovation level of the enterprise is;and in the non-state-owned enterprises,the positive influence of the ave rage educational level of the senior management team on the green technological innovation of the enterprise is greater than that of the state-owned enterprises;(4)the average tenure of the senior management team positively affects the green technological innovation of the enterprise;in the state-owned enterprises,the average tenure of the senior management team negatively affects the green technological innovation of the enterprise In non-state-owned enterprises,the av erage tenure of senior management team has a positive impact on green technology innovation;(5)executive compensation incentive negatively regulates the relationship between the average age of executive team and green technology in novation;executive compensation incentive positively regulates the relationship between the proportion of female executives and green technology innovation;executive compensation incentive positively regulates the relationship between the average degree of executive team and green technology innovation;executive compensation incentive negatively regulates the average tenure of executive team and green technology innovation The relationship between technology innovation;the relationship between average age of senior management team and green technology innovation;the relationship between the proportion of female senior managers and green technology innovation;the relationship between the average academic experience of senior management team and green technology innovation;the relationship between the average tenure of senior management team and green technology innovation;the relationship between the average tenure of senior management team and green technology innovation;the relationship between the average tenure of senior management team The relationship between period and green technology innovation;(6)in the state-owned enterprises,the regulation of compensation incentive is more obvious;in the non-state-owned enterprises,the regulation of equity incentive is more obvious.
