The amount of dust production on the extracting coal face accounts for more than 85% of the total amount of dust production in the underground coal mine.In recent years,with the increase in the degree of automation of coal mining,the amount of dust production by mechanical mining has also been increased.The dust not only causes pneumoconiosis among miners,but also causes coal dust explosions,causing heavy casualties and property losses.At present,the spray dust control technology widely used in mines has many problems,such as high water consumption,easy plugging of the nozzle and low efficiency of dust control.As a relatively new dust control technology,foam dust control has the advantages of low water consumption and high dust control efficiency.However,the research results and underground trials of the technology have not achieved the expected results,so it still needs to be improvement.Based on this,the mechanism of dust production,the conditions of foam formation,and the mechanism of foam interaction with dust and foam decay were studied,and the preparation of the foam agent aqueous solution and the optimal foam proportion was determined.The foam nozzle,shunt and dust control test-bed were designed and manufactured.The foam dust control ability was verified through the dust control experiment,which provides a scientific basis for improving the foam dust control efficiency.The microscopic dust production of picks and macroscopic dust raising process of cutting head were analyzed,the dust distribution characteristics at the cutting head of the roadheader were grasped,which provides a reference for the structural design and arrangement of foam nozzle.Furthermore,The conditions of foam production was explored,the interaction model between foam and dust and foam decay model were established,and the influencing factors of foam adhesion dust and foam decay were obtained,which provided theoretical basis for the selection of optimal foam proportion.In order to achieve the preparation of an excellent foam agent aqueous solution,the effects of different concentrations of foaming agent monomer and the two-two combination of foaming agents on foaming property and stability were studied,the influence of wetting agent on the wettability of coal dust and foaming property and stability were analyzed,the influence of the addition of foam stabilizer on the foam properties was investigated to determine the optimal ratio of foam agent aqueous solution.Through the development of foam shunt and foam nozzle,the influences of different gas-liquid ratio on the foaming multiple,viscosity,half-life,viscosity and liquid evolution characteristics changing with time were investigated,and the influences of air supply on the jet characteristics of single nozzle were analyzed to obtain the optimal foam proportion.Based on the foam dust control test-bed,the influence of different fixed ways of nozzle on the foam jet wrapping characteristics was investigated to obtain the best fixed way of nozzle.And the dust control test in the real-time dust production process to verify the dust control ability of the foam.This paper has 55 figures,31 tables,and 93 references.
