Contemporary Experimental Study On The Formal Language Of Tie-dye Art

This paper takes the basic techniques of tie-dye art as the lead,takes the contemporary expression of its formal language as the entry point,and explores its contemporary expression and cross-border innovation.Tie-dye is a traditional handicraft inherited for more than two thousand years in China.It is widely used in the social life in various historical periods.At present,the common tie-dye works on the market are mostly based on geometric or abstract patterns.Traditional tie-dye art works do not let the public feel the contemporary atmosphere,the reason for this phenomenon is that there is a difference between traditional handicraft and modern aesthetic concept.After reading relevant literature,the author found that although the predecessors mentioned the experimental research on tie-dye art form language,they did not regard it as an independent research object.It is hoped that through the contemporary experimental study of tie-dye art form language in this paper,the research area of tie-dye art will be broadened and more possibilities will be found.The main body of this paper is mainly composed of four parts: first,introduces the concept,origin and current situation of tie-dye art,summarizes the basic techniques and forms of tie-dye art,expounds the aesthetic connotation of tie-dye art,and analyzes the problems faced by the development of traditional tie-dye art.Secondly,the definition of contemporary visual expression is expounded.How to conduct the crossover experiment between tie-dye art and other printing and dyeing technologies through the expression of color and media to illustrate the aesthetic value of tie-dye art.Thirdly,I connect the theoretical research and practice above to create graduation design,and clarify the concept,technology and production process of the work creation.Finally,the paper summarizes the theoretical and experimental research,and expresses the expectation of the development of tie-dye art in contemporary society.In short,this paper draws a conclusion by means of literature research,comparative analysis and experimental summary.The innovation of this paper lies in starting from the expression of the modernity of formal language in the experiment of tie-dye art,integrating the modern design concept,exploring the crossover innovation and integration of tie-dye art with screen printing,batik and other printing and dyeing technologies in a practical way,and exploring the new direction of the inheritance and development of tie-dye art.
