With the economic globalization and the rapid development of China's manufacturing industry,China's manufacturing industry is faced with the inevitable choice of transforming enterprise cost pressure into innovation power,achieving production automation and informationization.Among them,as a traditional numerical control equipment,the cutting machine occupies a non-negligible position in the manufacturing industry.However,the traditional cutting machine processing method still stays in the manual positioning of processing materials,using third-party software for file format conversion.This traditional processing method is not only inefficient,but also labor intensive.This thesisaims to improve the digitalization and automation of cutting machines,improve the processing efficiency of cutting machines and reduce labor costs.Thereby further promoting the process of industrial automation and intelligence.Based on the research and analysis of domestic and foreign edge detection technology,spline curve fitting technology,machine vision technology and circle detection algorithm,this thesis designs and develops a vision-based cutting bed machine control.software.The main research contents of this thesisare as follows:(1)Based on the purpose of improving cutting efficiency and automatic positioning and cutting,the functional requirements and implementation process of the software are analyzed,and the software and hardware platforms of the cutting system are introduced.(2)For the bitmap file,a contour extraction method is proposed.Based on this,the curve fitting of its discrete coordinate set is carried out.By improving the continuous level between discrete coordinate points,the smoothness and cutting quality of the material cutting surface are improved.(3)This thesisuses the visual function of industrial camera and the principle of affine transformation to realize the automatic positioning of processed materials.The detection algorithm of circular Mark points is studied emphatically.The geometrical characteristics of the circle are used to reduce the time complexity of the circle detection algorithm and improve the practicability of the algorithm.(4)Based on the actual processing flow of the cutting machine,a vision-based cutting machine control software was developed.The software implements the analysis of the bitmap file,the automatic positioning of the processing materials,and some of the operations commonly used in the actual processing of the cutting machine.Finally,the thesissummarizes the full text and analyzes the shortcomings of the system and the future research directions.
