Research On The Driving Mechanism Of Enterprise Green Technology Adoption Under Environmental Regulation

As the largest developing country,China faces the problems of environmental deterioration,insufficient supply of resources and low energy utilization efficiency which are associated with rapid economic development.Maintaining a positive balance between healthy economic development and ecological civilization protection has become not only a broad consensus but also a strategic choice for the sustainable development of China's economy and society.There are some essential issues waiting to be solved: whether environmental regulation can guide and drive enterprises to choose and adopt green technology;what the key elements in the process of adopting green technology are and how they relate to each other;and how environmental regulation embed in the process of enterprises' green technology adoption and what kind of effects will be produced.The solution of these issues is of great significance to the development of green technology adoption and innovation as well as the realization of the strategic goal of sustainable development.Firstly,this thesis reviews and summarizes current research on environmental regulation,enterprise green technology adoption,and the relationship between environmental regulation and enterprise green technology innovation and practice.Secondly,it clarifies the connotation and classification of the driving force,i.e.environmental regulation,of green technology adoption,identifies the key components and driving factors of green technology adoption,i.e.the greening of products,value-added activities and stakeholders.On this basis,it analyses the dynamic mechanism of green technology adoption system in enterprises under environmental regulation.Thirdly,based on the theory of system dynamics and from the perspective of enterprise micro-management,a model of enterprise green technology adoption mechanism under environmental regulation is constructed,which reveals the interaction process of each element in the three subsystems including green product design,green process transformation and green training of stakeholders,and embodies the promoting effect of environmental regulation on the adoption of green technology in enterprises.Finally,taking new energy vehicle as an example,this thesis explores the effect of environmental regulation on enterprise green technology adoption.Taking new energy vehicle subsidy as the policy driving force,it constructs a green development system of automobile composed of three subsystems: green technology adoption of automobile enterprise,market demand,environment and energy,and carries out simulation analysis combining with the practice of automobile industry in China.There are two innovations in this thesis.Firstly,it constructs the basic components and dimensions of enterprise green technology adoption focusing on the decision-making process of enterprise green technology adoption,which enriches the research on green behavior mechanism.Secondly,from the dynamic perspective of enterprise green technology adoption,it explores the mechanism of environmental regulation on enterprise green technology adoption decision-making at the micro level and verifies the practical effect of environmental regulation on the adoption of green technology at the product level.
