As the largest energy consuming country in the world,China has a resource endowment characterized by"rich coal,poor oil and little gas".It determines that coal plays an irreplaceable role in China's energy consumption pattern.Compared with natural gas,coal combustion brings more emissions of soot,sulfur dioxide,nitrogen oxides and other pollutants.In recent years,the air pollution index of major cities in China has been continuously rising.Thus how to purify air quality has become an urgent issue that calls for immediate solution.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the CPC Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,has put forward the new concept of"adhering to green development".The reform in the field of ecological environment has been deepening,and the requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction have become increasingly stringent.As a state-owned enterprise,it is both a responsibility and an obligation to thoroughly implement the requirements of the new development concept.Taking AH power plant as an example,this paper expounds that the plant completed the low nitrogen combustion technology+SCR denitrification transformation in 2013,in accordance with the emission limits of Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Thermal Power Plants?GB13223-2011?.After that it has responded to The Action Plan for Upgrading and Transforming Energy Saving and Emission Reduction of Coal Power?2014-2020??National Development and Reform Commission Energy Bureau[2014]2093?,implemented simultaneously“lean-coal-to bituminous-coal”integrated transformation of combustion system and flue gas treatment system for energy saving and emission reduction in the second quarter of2015,which fulfilled a series of process facilities renovation including the transformation of lean coal to bituminous coal combustion system,new wet electrostatic precipitator,GGH demolition and flue renovation,new MGGH system,new wet desulphurization demister,and desulphurizing tower inlet spray system.Designed,constructed and put into use at the same time,the integrated transformation not only satisfies the requirements of energy saving and emission reduction,but also realizes a safe,stable and healthy development of the enterprise.As a result,it achieves better economic,environmental and social benefits,and has the effect of 1+1>2 and has good demonstration effect and reference significance.In this paper,the necessity and feasibility of transforming the pulverizing system and flue gas treatment system when using bituminous coal as fuel in replacement of lean coal,and the implementation plan of the reformation are deeply researched.The effect of energy saving and emission reduction is also studied.The results show that from lean coal to bituminous coal,the retrofitting of the pulverizing system effectively improves the boiler efficiency and explosion-proof performance of pulverizing,reduces the coal consumption of power generation,reduces the emission of flue gas pollutants from the source and reduces the pressure of emission reduction of the flue gas emission system;the retrofitting of the flue gas treatment system of the unit effectively reduces the emission concentration of flue gas pollutants,and eventually leads to a smoke emission concentration less than 5mg/m3,a NOX emission concentration less than 35mg/m3,and a SO2 emission concentration less than25mg/m3,which fully meets the emission limitation requirements of The Action Plan for Upgrading and Transforming Energy Saving and Emission Reduction of Coal Power?2014-2020??National Development and Reform Commission Energy Bureau[2014]2093?.
