Global economy has a booming trend in the recent years,with the reinforced increasing labor cost and requests from environmental protection,manufacturing companies are pursing more economic,energy saving,and efficient mode with no humanity.Nowadays,many companies are still using manually disassemble parts towards manufacturing of CNC lathe on plate and shaft like parts.Gantry robot has a advantage of simple structure and fast reacting.It improves current manufacturers environment,and also decrease the production cost,manufacture efficiency increased and is widely used in mass flow manufacturing.In this study,introduce a development trend of foreign robot usage.It is based on engineering technology,detailed analysis on CNC gantry robot loading and unloading systems.It focus on to generate a flow of loading and unloading CNC gantry robot,to offer a reference for future similar study.Contents of this study includes the following:Based on the introduction of application to CNC lathe robot,further to explain gantry robot's advantage on loading and unloading system,with focus in design and analysis for tricky aspects.By utilizing robust and mechanical theory,based on requirements of design,to further explain overall design investigation: by taking target of design,premises and critical parameter as confirmation,further explain of gantry robot's robust in moving.With comparison of different moving proposals,to decide and reason to use a gantry system.By using complex parts and concepts of single unit design theory,further research on unit design on a gantry system.First by rousting loading and unloading system,make analysis respectively on bearing unit,drive unit,claw unit,work storage unit.Upon research for previously mentioned parts,take best proposal from the many proposals that is based on design principles.Therefore to come to layout of CNC lathe gantry loading and unloading system.Bearing unit is the main components of gantry robot loading and unloading system.It determines the strength and stiffness of the gantry system,and affects the stability and accuracy for the loading and unloading of the gantry robot.Through analyzing the three-dimensional model of the loading and unloading system,the dangerous posture is analyzed.Through ANSYS Workbench software,the static balance of the loading and unloading system,the displacement cloud map and equivalent stress cloud diagram of the truss are obtained.The stiffness is evaluated to meet the requirements.Meanwhile,modal analysis is carried out by software to confirm the vibration stability.The software calculation results showed that the stiffness and strength of the truss automatic loading and unloading system designed in this paper are satisfied the needs.No seismic vibrations occur during the operation of the gantry.Finally,the simulation model and calculation results are verified by the real machine to determine the beam deformation and the accuracy of the repeated positioning of the axes.It confirms that the gantry loading and unloading system meets the requirements of design.
