Research On The Tank Coating Techniques Optimization For The Product Oil Tanker

The tank coating plays a very important role in the construction of the product oil tanker.The cycle and cost of the tank coating directly affect the construction period and total cost of the whole ship.Since the reform and opening up,some domestic shipyards have successively built many product oil tanks.There are also a lot researches on the tank coating technology of product oil tankers,but there is a lack of in-depth research in some details.For shipyards that are eager to improve the level of tank coating,it is imperative to develop a more reasonable and comprehensive tank coating process.This article will take the 110,000 t product oil tanker built by a shipbuilding company as an example to illustrate the requirements of various aspects of the tank coating construction process,mainly focusing on the tank coating process of the product oil tanker,from steel surface treatment and sandblasting abrasive selection.The blasting process parameters optimization and paint spraying process optimization have been carried out detailed research on the tank coating of cargo oil tanks.Through investigating various stages of the tank coating construction,the key problems and critical difficulties in the control of the tanker coating process can be analyzed and determined,and the optimized construction plan of the oil tanker tank coating is obtained.Finally,the actual ship verification was carried out through the optimized process,and it was concluded that significant progress and improvement has been made in the aspects of quality,cost and efficiency for tank coating.Some conclusions drawn in this paper provide an important reference for the tank coating process,and improve the tank coating construction level of the product oil tanker.The research results have high economic benefits and practical application value.
