Research On The Percussion Instrument Of Copper Drum In Guangxi

The Bronze Drum Instruments,a brass drum used as an instrument,which is evolved from the ancient Bronze Drum,inherited the ingenious casting technology of The Bronze Drum.It is born in a tangible form,which is able to integrated into the hall of music,and entertain the people’s life,both refined and popular,that is suitable for all ages.Since TBDI(The Bronze Drum Instruments)came out in the late 1980 s,under the joint promotion of local government departments,improvement researchers and relevant people,it has made certain achievements and been recognized and affirmed by people from all walks of life at home and abroad.In the new era,TBDI actively integrated into the campus life,continue to write its era chapter.Based on the existing research results of Bronze Drum and its music function,this paper uses the method of combining historical documents and field investigation to review the evolution history of Bronze Drum as a musical instrument.Taking the practice of Huang Zhongyu,Zhang Yingzhong,Tan Anyi and Ya Yunyong to summarize the history and current situation of TBDI.The casting technology and tuning method of TBDI are investigated,and the sound principle is discussed.According to the present situation of inheritance and development of The Instruments,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.The results show that The Bronze Drum Instruments is the product of the evolution and development of Bronze Drum and its culture in the new period.The Bronze Drum improvers,responding to the call of The Times,have the courage to innovate and make unremitting explorations,which has accelerated the birth schedule of TBDI.Although TBDI andThe Copper Drum are similar in casting technology and shape,the tuning of The Bronze Drum Instruments is taken according to the fixed scale,becoming the law.Brass drum rhythm is special,there are three kinds of low,middle and high tone,which can achieve chromatic modulation.TBDI has realized twelve equalization rhythm,cooperating with modern stage performance.Not only the inheritance and development of The Bronze Drum Instruments cannot be separated from the extensive attention and support from the government,enterprises,researchers and all sectors of society,but the relevant collaborative innovation mechanism needs to be established and improved timely.
