Research On Risk Identification And Control For Overseas Projects Of Chinese Oil Enterprises

Oil has great influence on the economy of the world as it is an important chemical raw materials and energy materials.With the continuous development of the economy,especially the substantial increase in car consumption,the contradiction between supply and demand of oil is becoming more and more serious.In order to meet the domestic enterprises or individuals needs for the oil,many Chinese oil companies have to go overseas,but at the same time they are also faced with many risks.With the expansion of overseas projects,the risks are increasing.The healthy and good development of overseas oil projects has become China's energy security problem.The country has given a certain policy guidance and support as the oil companies set up the overseas projects,meanwhile the oil companies themselves need to do a feasibility analysis of the project,so that they can strengthen the risk assessment and control and then promote their own business.Based on the systematic research of the related theories of overseas project risk management of petroleum enterprises,this paper analyzes the business model,business characteristics and risk management processes of the overseas projects of China's petroleum enterprises,and summarizes the problems of China's oil enterprises overseas project risk management problems.Aiming at the main risk types,the paper lists the main risk lists of overseas projects of Chinese petroleum enterprises.The special cases of petroleum enterprises in kazakhstan are selected for risk assessment and then puts forward corresponding solutions and safeguards.
