The corrosion of materials happens all the time.Corrosion causes a lot of waste,environmental pollution and economic loss.At the same time,it will bring many safety hazards to human life and production.Therefore,it is always a way to prevent or slow down the corrosion of materials.There is no time to delay.At present,corrosion of materials is suppressed or reduced by changing the structure of the material itself,surface coating,and adding a corrosion inhibitor to the corrosive medium.Metal copper has good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity,so it is widely used in all aspects of people’s lives,such as power industry,electronics industry,energy and petrochemical field,transportation field and so on.The exposed copper is easily corroded in the natural environment,so it has a very important role in the corrosion prevention of metallic copper.Many studies have shown that the corrosion resistance of metal copper foil is improved by chemical deposition on the surface of metal copper foil.This is due to the structure of graphene.This paper mainly wants to apply the concept of macroscopic graphene/metal foil.On the microscopic micro-nano copper sheet,the surface of the micro-nano copper sheet is coated with graphene,and the graphene/copper sheets were assembled into a massive graphene/copper sheet.Subsequently,this paper explores the corrosion performance of graphene/copper sheets and assembled graphene/copper sheets,and studies whether surface-coated graphene can improve the corrosion performance of copper sheets and the corrosion properties of graphene/copper blocks.The reaction between pure copper sheet and graphene/copper sheet with FeCl3indicates that the corrosion resistance of graphene/copper sheet is significantly higher than that of pure copper sheet;the corrosion performance of bulk graphene/copper material mainly investigated through salt spray corrosion and electrochemical corrosion.The salt spray corrosion experiment has 5 sets of different corrosion times,which are 6h,24h,48h,96h 144h respectively.Since the graphene/copper sheets are assembled in a layered structure,each group has three sets of experiments with the same corrosion time.One group was the control group:one is pure copper pieces(Pure Cu)assembled by hot pressing,and one is the corrosion surface parallel to the layered structure,one is the corrosion surface(Gr/Cu-ip)perpendicular to the layered structure.The corrosion morphology of the salt spray corrosion test shows that the corrosion of pure copper block and graphene/copper corrosion material is intensified with the increase of corrosion time,and the corrosion of Pure Cu is the most serious under the same corrosion time,the Cu-cp is second,and the corrosion degree of Gr/Cu-ip is the smallest.Electrochemical corrosion includes electrochemical impedance,cyclic voltammetry and Tafel curves.Electrochemical corrosion results show that the corrosion rate of Pure Cu is0.316 mm/year,the corrosion rate of Gr/Cu-cp is 0.289 mm/year,and the corrosion rate of Gr/Cu-ip is 0.210 mm/year.The experimental results of electrochemical corrosion and salt spray corrosion show that the corrosion resistance of bulk graphene/copper composites is better than that of pure copper,while the corrosion resistance of Gr/Cu-ip of bulk graphene/copper composites is better than Gr/Cu-cp.In this paper,the micro-nano-sized graphene/copper sheets were assembled into macroscopic massive graphene/copper composites by coating graphene on the surface of copper sheets,and their corrosion resistance was studied.Since the mechanical properties,electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of graphene/copper corrosion materials are significantly improved compared to pure copper materials,improving the corrosion properties of the materials can further promote their application in people’s production and life.The tests also show that the material can improve the corrosion performance,and the corrosion performance of the corrosion surface parallel to the layered structure is excellent,which means the corrosion performance of Gr/Cu-ip is the best.
