At present, the phenomenon of "appearing the waterlogging after raining every time" has become a common problem in many cities of our country. In addition, urban waterlogging,as one of the natural disasters, has the characteristics of frequent occurrence, creating heavy losses and involving in wide coverage, which affects the daily life of people and even endangers the safety of people. However, the level of perception of disaster risk of people will influence the degree of damage caused by natural disasters in an invisible way.As a result, the study related to the issues of urban residents’ perception of the risk of waterlogging disaster aims at improving residents’ cognitive ability of disaster risk, which is not only helpful to improve the residents’ ability of disaster prevention and mitigation, but also has an important reference for the relevant departments to improve the standard of work.In this paper,it studies the current situation of perception of waterlogging disaster risk among residents in Xi’an,Zhengzhou and Wuhan by means of questionnaire survey and interview on the basis of the existing literature and theory,in which a total of 442 valid questionnaires were collected. As for the main contents and conclusions of this paper,it mainly includes:(1)It puts forward the research hypothesis and designs the questionnaire on the basis of defining the purpose of the research,in which the regression analysis and the marginal effect analysis are carried out to get the influencing factors(P<0.05)of the perception of the risk of waterlogging disaster among the urban residents by constructing the order logistic mode.In terms of the factors that have significant impact on the perception of the risk of waterlogging disaster of urban residents,it includes the educational level of residents, the number of disasters of them, the degree of mastery of disaster prevention skills of them and the enthusiasm of them to respond to disasters. These have a significant impact on the perception of the risk of waterlogging disaster,in which all are positive impact for residents.(2)Survey data based on significant factors in three cities,it uses the single factor model to quantify the risk perception level of waterlogging disaster in three cities. The ranking for the quantitative results of the perceived level of waterlogging disaster risk among residents in three cities are Wuhan(9.544),followed by Zhengzhou(9.477)and Xi’an(8.52),which also tries to analyze the reasons from the aspects of geographical conditions, relevant infrastructure, local humanities and so on in each city.(3)Comparing the numerical proportions of the results of multiple survey questions in three cities,we can find that there are differences in the attention, prevention awareness and response situation of the three urban residents in the waterlogging. There are still many problems in the perception of urban residents’ disaster risk, including the lack of scientific and comprehensive knowledge of residents’ waterlogging, the poor mastery of residents’ overall disaster prevention skills, and the low participation of residents in dealing with waterlogging disaster.(4)Based on the above analysis results,it puts forward some strategic suggestions in this paper to enhance residents’ perception of waterlogging disaster risk, such as improving residents’ scientific cognition of waterlogging disaster, enhancing residents’ ability to deal with disaster risk, improving the satisfaction degree of government and the participation of the whole society in dealing with waterlogging disaster,so as to improve the residents’ perceived risk of waterlogging disaster, and reduce the losses caused by it. |
