Brinell hardness is mainly used for hardness testing of metal materials and products.Hardness testing is an important means of testing product quality.Precision testing equipment,metallurgy and other industries and fields have high demand for hardness testing.From the design of products to the final product,the hardness test is indispensable.More hardness test,such as Brinell hardness,Leeb hardness,Leeb hardness and so on.The Brinell hardness test is widely used.The development of computers has promoted the rapid development and application of image processing technology.The biggest feature of image processing is that it can measure objects without contacting them.Therefore,image processing techniques are often used in many fields such as identification and detection.The combination of hardness measurement and image processing technology can effectively improve the measurement level of articles and reduce the influence of factors such as external factors and human operations on the measurement results.Therefore,the paper analyzes the application of image processing technology in Brinell hardness testing.The content of the article is as follows:The principle of Brinell hardness is analyzed.It is pointed out that due to the large indentation of Brinell hardness,the external factors such as the composition of the sample will not affect the hardness value,the measurement accuracy is high,and the dispersion is small,which can reflect the properties of the material objectively and directly.Therefore,Brinell hardness testing is the most widely used in current hardness measurement.The extraction of Brinell indentation image was studied.It mainly includes calibration method selection,conventional indentation image extraction method,edge detection method,image threshold segmentation,circle detection and so on.Based on the application of genetic algorithm in image processing,this paper studies the precision extraction method of indentation circle.Genetic algorithm(GA)is used to search the maximum gradient and genetic algorithm(GA)is used to perform circle quadratic fine fitting.The hardness values of four standard samples are tested and verified.From the analysis of test data,it can be seen that after adding genetic algorithm,the hardness measurement of samples can realize aging and precision.of course.The Brinell hardness measurement software system was designed and implemented.The Brinell hardness measurement management system designed in this paper mainly has the system login system manual measurement,automatic measurement system,reporting system and other functions,and designed the function of each module based on the function requirement analysis,especially in the automatic the measurement module of the system,combined with genetic algorithm for programming,finally realize the improvement and innovation of the management system of Brinell hardness.In addition using the technology of SQLite database of Brinell hardness measurement software system of the database design,the realization of a complete design of Brinell hardness measurement software,realize the cloth The modernization and information management of hardness measurement improve the level of Brinell hardness measurement,save cost and improve production capacity.
