Research On The Character Modelling Of Tangshan Shadow Play With Anti-japanese War Theme

Tangshan shadow play with Anti-Japanese War theme is guided by revolutionary idea,not only has profound influence on united resistance against aggression of this region but also enriches the spiritual life of local people,which is an indispensable part of Tangshan shadow plays.It has two typical periods including the Anti-Japanese War period and Great Cultural Revolution period,since when it has formed unique character modeling characteristic by the spirit of war resistance and combined with real life to cultivate newstyle shadow persons centering on ordinary people and various military personnel,which is full of strong national awareness and fighting spirit with unique characteristics of the times.This paper studies Tangshan shadow play with Anti-Japanese War theme and bases on the main line of history and fighting spirit review to trigger the spiritual thought of later generations.Tangshan shadow play with Anti-Japanese War theme is abridged and simple in character modelling,refers to the tradition and has unique characteristics of the AntiJapanese War period,which presents the national personalities of being upright and loyal,hating injustice like poison and fighting against foreign enemies jointly no matter in character portrayal or spiritual implication.In this paper,the modelling features of Tangshan shadow play with Anti-Japanese War theme in the Anti-Japanese War period and the Cultural Revolution period are mainly demonstrated,firstly,the reasons for the character modelling are analyzed.Secondly,the character modelling characteristics of the times are mainly demonstrated.In the Anti-Japanese War period,the shadow play character modelling referred to the tradition and combined with the costume characteristics of the people at that time;In the Cultural Revolution period,the character modelling became richer and based on the character modelling of model opera to highlight the great image of heroes.Finally,the development and artistic value of Tangshan shadow play with Anti-Japanese War theme are expounded.advocates the spiritual connotation of patriotism at the present times and reminds us to remember the history and the national humiliation.Figure 37;Table 9;Reference 42.
