| With the development of the economy and the improvement of people’s living standards, the energy consumption of residents has become one of the important sources of energy consumption and carbon emissions, and the resident life has great potential for emission reduction. But to achieve low-carbon development,it is necessary to coordinate the contradiction between "expanding consumption" and "energy saving and emission reduction".Changes in residents’ lifestyles and consumption behaviors are conducive to reducing carbon emissions. Therefore, studying the status quo and changing characteristics of my country’s residential energy carbon emissions and the influencing factors of residential energy carbon emissions can provide a scientific basis and policy reference for China to develop a low-carbon economy. This paper uses the emission factor kernel algorithm to measure the residential carbon emissions of 30 provinces and regions in China from 1997 to2017.Based on the calculation results,it analyzes the scale, structure and change trend of Chinese residential carbon emissions, and conducts urban and rural Comparative analysis and regional comparative analysis.Based on the above calculation results, this paper uses the extended STIRPAT model to conduct an empirical study on the influencing factors of China’s overall per capita residents’ energy consumption carbon emissions, and examines the changes in household size, urbanization rate, resident consumption level, and carbon emission intensity on per capita resident life Impact of energy use carbon emissions. The results show that: the increase in residents’ consumption level is the most important factor affecting the increase in per capita household energy carbon emissions, followed by the urbanization rate;the expansion of the size of households will lead to a reduction in per capita household energy carbon emissions, carbon emission intensity The reduction will also lead to a reduction in carbon emissions from per capita residents’ energy consumption.Due to the large differences in the carbon emissions of residents’ energy consumption in different regions of China, this paper divides 30 provinces into four types of regions based on the two indicators of economic level and geographic location, and further studies the residents’ consumption levels and annual average temperatures on different regions.Degree of influence. The results show that for all regions, residents’ consumption level is the most important influencing factor for residents’ energy consumption carbon emissions;residents in northern regions are affected by the average annual temperature, and residents with higher temperature regions have lower carbon emissions However, the annual average temperature has no significant effect on the carbon emissions of residents’ energy consumption in the southern region.Based on the above analysis, policy recommendations on energy consumption for residents’ living are drawn from the perspectives of the government, enterprises and residents. |
