Research On Functional Demand And Structural Design Of Student Apartment Furniture In Universities

Nowadays,most of the students’ apartment furniture is traditional,rigid and cold,which does not match the characteristics of the times,so it can not meet the use and psychological demands of college students.It is urgent to improve the functionality and furniture structure of the students’ apartment in Colleges and universities.This paper uses literature analysis,questionnaire,observation analysis,comparative analysis,simulation design and other methods to investigate the current situation of students’ use of student apartments and their practical experience,study the functional needs and structural problems of students’ apartment furniture,and test the results of case design,and form the following conclusions: The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The survey results shows that the overall satisfaction of students with apartment furniture and space environment is low.In the overall evaluation,the NPS value is shown as-79.26%,which is mainly reflected in students’ low satisfaction with storage space and internal function and space of furniture.In the specific furniture,students are the least satisfied with the wardrobe and bed,and they think there are deficiencies in practicability,comfort,safety and privacy.Most of the students hope that the furniture is of log color and steel wood combination,which tends to be humanized and multifunctional.(2)Based on the analysis of the main life behavior patterns and psychological characteristics of the students’ apartment users,this paper puts forward that the college students’ apartment furniture should provide practical functions such as sleep rest,study,storage,entertainment and interpersonal communication,and should have environmental atmosphere such as space color,space separation and space decoration,so as to relieve the students’ mental pressure and improve their aesthetic taste.(3)Based on the comparative analysis of the characteristics of wood furniture and metal furniture,it is suggested that the steel wood furniture in metal furniture should be preferred in student apartment.The research results are further refined from the aspects of optimizing the connection structure,enriching the function of furniture structure,improving the humanization and intelligence.(4)Using the idea of multi-functional and modular design,a set of apartment furniture is designed to meet the needs of students.In the design scheme,the learning area and living area are separated,the concept of intelligent furniture is introduced,and the storage space is increased.The production and processing technology to realize the design scheme is analyzed in detail,which proves that the design scheme is feasible under the current process conditions.
