With the continuous acceleration of urbanization in China,the amount of solid organic waste is huge.The use of aerobic composting technology to treat solid organic waste can not only relieve the pressure brought by waste to the environment,but also use composting products as fertilizers in the soil,which has certain economic benefits.However,at present,most of the aerobic composting equipment is largescale industrial equipment,and there are many inconveniences in conducting small-scale aerobic composting experiments in the laboratory.In order to meet the requirements of small-scale laboratory experiments,this paper studies and designs an automated aerobic fermentation experimental equipment that can change the experimental parameters according to the experimental needs.The main work of this paper are as follows:First,according to the experimental requirements,the mechanical structure of the drum fermentation experiment equipment was designed,mainly the drum structure,stirring device,support device,rotating device and aeration device of the drum fermentation experiment equipment,and the actual drum fermentation experiment equipment was manufactured.Secondly,this paper designed the control system of the drum fermentation experiment equipment.The author chose STM32F103 series single-chip microcomputer,developed the acquisition control system and corresponding hardware circuit,and developed the touch screen human-computer interaction interface.The human-machine interaction interface mainly selects the drum,and then sets the experimental parameters and obtains the temperature data.The acquisition control system can receive the experimental parameters and instructions transmitted by the touch-screen human-machine interaction interface,according to the experimental process at the correct time and sequentially control the action of each functional mechanism of the drum fermentation experiment equipment,so that the aerobic compost experiment can be automated.Finally,the author carried out multiple comparative experiments using garden waste and pig manure as raw materials by using the drum fermentation experiment equipment,and determined the best operating parameters of the drum fermentation experiment equipment when using the garden waste and pig manure as the main raw materials for aerobic composting experiments.Based on this,the experiment was conducted again and the experimental results were further studied.The color and odor,temperature,p H value,carbon and nitrogen ratio(C/N),and seed germination index(GI)of the composting material were monitored and analyzed throughout the experiment.It showed that the aerobic composting experiment performed by this drum fermentation experimental equipment was very effective,and the composting product has a high degree of maturity and safety.
