With the continuous growth of the domestic leather consumer market,consumers' demands for the quantity and quality of leather products are constantly increasing,and similarly the demands towards diversification and individualization with regard to the products are also increasing,which requires an advancement in the production of leather products.Leather cutting is an important process in the course of leather processing,which has an important impact on the quality and efficiency of leather product production.At present,the level of automation of the leather cutting machine CNC system is not advanced in China,which means the production of leather products is still undertaken by workers and machines,which cannot meet the needs of the growing leather consumer market.Therefore,it is of great importance to develop a leather cutting machine CNC system which can meet the current needs in regard to leather production.In this paper,based on the mold of "industrial personal computer and motion controller",according to the characteristics of the leather cutting process and the needs of automatic control,the research of the leather cutting machine CNC system is carried out.Firstly,based on the structural characteristics of the mechanism of leather cutting machine,the hardware platform of the leather cutting machine CNC system which is based on the Advantech industrial personal computer and MC1004 motion controller was built,and the selection of Advantech industrial personal computer,MC1004 motion controller and Panasonic servo drive system was analyzed.Secondly,using the industrial personal computer as the host computer,based on the QT5.9 software,the host computer software of the leather cutting machine CNC system was developed with the idea of layered modularization,and a list of functions can be achieved,such as the communication between the host computer and the MC1004,graphic file parsing,graphics display,graphics editing,processing code generation,processing simulation and processing tracking.Subsequently,aiming at the problem that excessive idle travel exists in the cutting path,the ant colony algorithm is capitalized on to optimize the leather cutting paths.In addition,based on the ant colony algorithm,towards its shortcomings,the greedy algorithm,roulette selection method,elite strategy and mutation operator were introduced to improve the ant colony algorithm.Furthermore,a contrastive experiment was conducted between the antcolony algorithm and its improved version,whose results revealed that compared with the former version,the improved ant colony algorithm can significantly reduce the number of iterations of the algorithm,shorten the running time of the algorithm,and have a better optimization effect on the problem of excessive idle travel.What's more,using the MC1004 motion controller as the slave computer,based on the control characteristics of the leather cutting machine CNC system and the characteristics of the leather cutting process,with the help of Autothink software,the MC1004 controller was redeveloped,and a set of functions such as the manual control,velocity look-ahead,tangential tracking,automatic leather processing and processing suspension can be realized.Finally,the experimental procedure of leather processing was devised,and the leather processing experiment was carried out on the leather cutting machine.The experimental results showed that the leather cutting machine CNC system can run stably and the processing accuracy can meet the needs of leather cutting.
