As an indispensable and important part of the chemical park,the chemical tank farm has a large number of storage tanks,compact layout,flammable and explosive storage materials.Once an accident occurs in a storage tank,it is likely to spread to other nearby storage tanks,causing domino effect.Pool fire is one of the main factors causing domino accidents in the chemical industry.Due to the coupling between flames,compared with single pool fire accidents,Double pool fires accidents will cause more serious casualties and property losses.Therefore,in-depth study of double pool fires coupling mechanism and resilience enhancing principle is of great significance to effectively contain the domino effect accident in the chemical tank area.The research content of this article mainly includes:(1)Study on combustion characteristics of double pool fires in chemical tank farm.The experimental values of the four thermal radiation intensity measuring points in double pool fires small-scale experiment are compared with the simulation values.On the basis of verifying the rationality of numerical method,the mechanism of the double pool fires coupling in two typical scenarios of chemical tank farm are explored from the characteristic parameters of heat release rate,flame shape and heat radiation intensity of the target tank,which is the basis of thermal response and quantitative research on domino effect scenarios.(2)Study on thermal response of the target storage tank under double pool fires.From the perspective of heat transfer,the thermal response process of the storage tank is discussed.Based on the thermal radiation intensity distribution of the target storage tank,a numerical model of the target storage tank is established.And explore the influence of tank spacing and filling height on the thermal response.(3)Quantitative study of domino effect scenarios in chemical tank farm under double pool fires.Based on the Bayesian network theory,systematically sort out the analysis steps and probability calculation of the quantitative research on the domino effect accidents of double pool fires,and take the chemical tank farm of a petrochemical enterprise as an example to establish Bayesian network models of the chemical tank farm to identify dangerous links and dangerous storage tanks cause accident propagation,which is the basis of resilience enhancing research.(4)Study on resilience enhancing principle in chemical tank farm under double pool fires.Based on the definition of resilience and the principle of index determination in chemical tank farm,characterize relevant parameters of chemical tank farm resilience quantitatively,put forward scientific and reasonable chemical tank farm resilience enhancing measures from the perspective of safety barriers and emergency rescue.According to the identified dangerous scenarios,Bayesian network models of chemical tank farm considering resilience enhancing measures are established to quantitatively evaluate the resilience enhancing effects of different resilience enhancing measures.This method has important reference significance for prevention and control domino effect in chemical tank farm.
