Chemical tank farm is prone to domino effect accidents.The coupling of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment is the typical cause of domino effect accidents.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the mechanism of the domino effect accident caused by the coupling effect of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment.It also calls for further research on resilience enhancing theory of chemical tank farm system.The main contents are as follows:(1)Experimental research on small-sized storage tanks under the coupling effect of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment.Small-size fragments are simulated by spherical bullets from the shotgun,and the initial and remaining speeds of spherical bullets at different hitting angles and different tank wall temperatures are recorded by a high-speed camera.The kinetic energy loss of the spherical bullets could be then calculated.The perforation morphology and damage mechanism of target storage tank are analyzed and provide basis for numerical simulation verification.(2)Numerical simulation study of large-scale storage tanks under the coupled effect of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment.The processes that the target storage tank is hit by blast fragments with effect of fire or not are simulated by ABAQUS.By comparing the deformation and displacement of the target storage tank,the effect of velocity and shape of the blast fragments on dynamic response process and failure law of the target storage tank subjected to fire are analyzed.(3)Vulnerability analysis of large storage tanks under the coupling effect of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment.The limit state equation of the target equipment under the coupling effect of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment at different time is established.Monte Carlo method is used to calculate the failure probability of target storage tank hit by blast fragments at different time after suffering fire.The influence of the velocity,mass,and impact angle of the blast fragments on the vulnerability of the target storage tank is analyzed,which lays the foundation for probability investigation of domino effect.(4)Study on the probability of domino effect in chemical tank farm under the coupling effect of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment.According to the blast fragment ejection trajectory formula and the established limit state equation,comprehensively considering the environment and distribution of the target equipment,the probability model of the domino effect caused by blast fragment in fire environment is constructed.This model is applied to the case study to obtain the most dangerous accident scenario.The accident scenario provides basic data for the quantitative analysis of the resilience enhancing of the chemical tank farm system.(5)Research on the resilience enhancing theory of chemical tank farm under the coupling effect of fire thermal radiation and blast fragment.The definition of resilience of chemical tank farm and the resilience framework are proposed.The quantitative calculation method of two kinds of technical resilience measures is proposed.Finally,taking a chemical tank farm as an example,the increasing resilience of two types of measures are calculated.
