Overhaul Project Risk Management Of Petrochemical Company Ethylene Plant

Petrochemical industry has the characteristics of "high temperature and pressure,inflammable and explosive,toxic and harmful" and so on.The large-scale overhaul projects with a cycle of three to five years have great risks,so it is necessary to strengthen the risk management of these projects.This paper is based on the case of Petrochemical Industries Co ethylene plant overhaul project.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the basic theory of project risk and project risk management,as well as the basic theory and method of risk identification,analysis and control are summarized,and the ethylene plant of BASF-YPC Petrochemical Company is introduced.Secondly,from the three risk factors of material,human and environment,the risk identification methods such as "brainstorming method" are used to identify and classify the risk of the basic eight categories of hazards common in large overhaul projects based on the safety risk matrix of Sinopec.Combined with the relevant theoretical research methods and my own practice in the work,put forward suggestions and measures to identify the risk of overhaul projectsFinally,combined the overhaul project results to illustrate the effectiveness of project risk management.Because of the universality of the equipment overhaul characteristics in petrochemical enterprises,the conclusions of this paper are universal and have certain guiding significance.
