Study On The Impact Of Urban Sprawl On Air Pollutions

Protect ecological civilization has always been a prominent position in China's economic development,and the control of air pollution is an urgent task for the whole society.The healthy and orderly development of cities are also important goals for the construction of new-type urbanization.Therefore,against the backdrop of new urbanization,the impact of urban sprawl on air pollution is studied from the national level,thus providing a new way of thinking for the problems of environmental pollution in the process of new urbanization,which has profound theoretical and practical implications for China's sustainable development.This article takes 245 prefecture-level cities in China as experimental objects,and the spatial panel measurement method is used to investigate whether urban sprawl aggravates air pollution in Chinese cities under the background of new-type urbanization.In order to obtain more regional representative research results,the prefecture-level cities were further divided into eastern region,central region and western region according to geographical location for sub-sample exploration.The results show that both urban sprawl and air pollution in China have agglomeration characteristics and spatial spillover effects,and urban sprawl in China is closely related to environmental quality and surrounding cities.Under the new urbanization,Chinese cities spread significantly alleviate the air pollution status quo,moderate cities spread will help to improve the air quality in China,and the spread of urban heterogeneity differences on the effect of different regional air pollution,central and eastern cities of spread to alleviate the air pollution in cities,is consistent with the direction of the overall impact in our country,and in the western region of the city spread exacerbated the atmospheric pollution,fully reveal the influence of urban spread of atmospheric pollution in our country showed significant regional differences.Based on this,it is recommended that in the process of urbanization,we should practice the concept of green development,formulate differentiated urban construction policies for different regions in China,deepen urban "joint prevention and control" cooperation to control air pollution.May be the innovation of this paper:(1)in this paper,the city spread theory,summarized the influence mechanism of atmospheric pollution,and sums up the spread of urban air pollution affected the pros and cons of the mechanism,deepen the understanding of the academic impact of air pollution.(2)the space factors included in the empirical model,fully consider the atmospheric pollution and the spread of urban spatial correlation.This paper uses a spatial panel measurement model to explore air pollution with spatial correlation,which can better explain the objective realitycompared with the traditional panel measurement model.(3)this paper conducted empirical research on 245 prefecture-level cities in China,which filled the gap of large-sample research on this issue.Further,this paper subdivided the samples according to the urban location,compared the difference results of different subsamples,and the research conclusion was more representative of regional and scale.
