At present,because of the rapid development of the world economy,people's living standards have been improved,tourism culture and the development of food culture,making food waste has become a unique phenomenon.At present,the kitchen garbage of the cruise ship is cleaned by hand after the arrival of the cruise ship stops.But people produce more and more food waste,not only contains a lot of organic components,which also contains a higher proportion of microorganisms,these higher components will make garbage perishable,easy to breed harmful substances,it has a very negative impact on people's living and sanitary environment.If the rubbish is scattered in the course of transportation,it will cause secondary pollution and affect the traffic inside and outside the ship.Therefore,the solution to the cruise kitchen garbage is a very urgent problem.In this paper,we introduce the common garbage collection methods,compare the advantages and disadvantages of different garbage collection methods,and briefly introduce the working principle of the vacuum garbage collection system.It is concluded that in many ways of kitchen garbage collection,vacuum pipeline transportation of vacuum collection system makes cruise kitchen garbage treatment more rapid and efficient,green and energy saving,and also reduces the daily operating cost of cruise ships,which is in line with the national environmental protection law and energy saving policy,and brings certain social and economic benefits.The main work and conclusion are as follows:Firstly,the classification of vacuum collection system and its development at home and abroad are introduced,and the necessity of vacuum collection system is explained theoretically by analyzing the characteristics and transportation characteristics of kitchen garbage.Secondly,the experiment and simulation of the kitchen garbage system of cruise ship are carried out,and the main parts of the system,such as garbage feeding device,garbage separator,dehumidification and dust removal device,vacuum unit,are studied and designed to examine the rationality of the system design and the reliability of operation.Based on the effect of vacuum degree and particle density on vacuum collection efficiency,an experiment platform was designed and built to simulate the velocity field of the simplified model with Fluent software.Finally,the deodorization and treatment process of vacuum garbage collection systemare discussed,the influence factors are taken into account,the activated carbon adsorption method is selected as the deodorization technology,the process flow of the waste treatment system and the recycling of waste water are determined,and the economic and social benefits of the whole system are analyzed to provide a reference for modern cruise ships to meet the requirements of their kitchen garbage collection and treatment.
