Billiards,as one of the four gentlemen's sports,has always been loved by the people.It has the elegant and noble style.No matter in dress,etiquette or movement,it gives people comfortable and elegant feelings.Secondly,the safety,healthy,and national characteristics of the sport make it more popular easily.The live broadcast of major international billiard tournaments has also attracted more and more people's attentions.Some famous billiard players such as Stephen Hendry,Ronnie O'Sullivan,Ding Junhui,Pan Xiaoting,etc,have become idols of billiards players.Each round of billiards matches quires a dedicated staff to swing the ball,or the player to swing the ball by himself,which increases the complexity of billiards.For a long time,the staff also faces the pressure of labor intensity,and the players may also will lose the joy of billiards sport.With the advancement of science and technology and the penetration of automation in various fields,such as image recognition,high-precision measures,servo motor positioning,and embedded control chips,our lives will become more intelligent and convenient.It is an era driven by the design of an automatic device to replace the automatic swinging of billiards,and has a great research prospect and market.Aiming at a series of tedious behaviors,such as collecting and swinging the ball every time a game of billiards is performed,This article studies a ball swinging device based on a screw module and a manipulator.Using PLC control,servo positioning,stepping motor positioning,sensor control,and other technologies,from pendulum ball device can realize the program selection,structural design,hardware control circuit design,software and control program design,device motion stability research and so on to carry out a systematic and orderly design.Through physical production,debuggi ng,and process parameter measurement,the pendulum ball mechanism is fast,stable,and reliable.The fully automatic billiard ball pendulum device can achieve no artificial pendulum and precise pendulum.Therefore,this article has important research significa nces.
