With the improvement of people’s living standards,entertainment projects are becoming more and more abundant,billiard sports are also gradually popularized,and more and more billiard devices are designed.The traditional billiard game is to place the billiards manually,which not only takes time and effort,but also the position of the billiards is relatively inaccurate,and increases the cost and reduces the efficiency.For this reason,it is of great significance to design a device to replace the artificial arrangement of billiard balls.This automatic billiard machine can be divided into three structures: ball dividing mechanism,swinging ball mechanism and dribbling mechanism.This article mainly designs the ball splitting device of the automatic billiard machine,and uses image recognition processing technology to classify and classify the billiard balls.The overall ball-splitting device uses 51 single-chip microcomputer as the main control module of the ball-splitting device.The design of the control circuit system and the selection of hardware are carried out.Based on the Raspberry Pi 4B,an embedded image recognition system was built through the software environment of the Open CV computer vision library.Collect pictures of billiards through the camera.Then by studying machine learning and image information processing methods,the billiards recognition is completed.During the operation of the entire system,when the billiard ball falls into the bag and enters the ball separation device,the ball separation device starts to operate,and the stepper motor is driven to drive the conveyor belt to send the billiard balls one by one to the image recognition acquisition cabin,which is embedded The recognition system collects and recognizes the billiards images,and then transports the billiards to the next pendulum device for the next operation.Through debugging,the device basically completed the expected goal,and the performance was stable and reliable.This paper uses machine vision technology to recognize billiard balls,and designs an embedded recognition system and a ball-splitting device to meet the needs of modernization.It has wide adaptability and good development prospects.
