Horseradish is an active substance extracted from the genus Horseradish,and its main component is Allylisothiocynate(AITC).Research claims that horseradish has an effective inhibitory effect on weeds,and it is easily degraded in the environment,so it can be used as a new environmentally-friendly bio-source herbicide.This thesis intends to prepare horseradish into capsule suspension.The purpose is to improve its stability,prolong the shelf life,and solve the problem of irritation to human eyes and skin during use.This study consists of three parts:(1)The preparation technology of 9.5% horseradish capsule suspension and the factors affecting the preparation were studied.The wall material is silicon dioxide synthesized using ethyl orthosilicate as a precursor,and horseradish is the core material.Horseradish capsule suspension was synthesized by sol-gel method.By comparing parameters such as formulation stability,capsule size,and encapsulation efficiency,the optimal preparation process was determined as follows:Emulsifier is 34 # with an added amount of 2%.The ratio of ethyl orthosilicate to horseradish is 2: 1.At normal temperature,the reaction was continuously stirred at 600 rpm for 4 hours.Finally,0.2% xanthan gum was added as a stabilizer.(2)A method for the detection of horseradish liquid chromatography using liquid chromatography.The regression equation of horseradish concentration and peak area is y = 81112 x + 102435,R2 = 0.9999.The average recovery of this method is 89.56%,which is between 70% and 110%,so it meets the standard.Standard deviation is 3.30 and coefficient of variation is 6.80,so the accuracy of the detection method is high.(3)Using the same preparation method,blank capsules were prepared and analyzed by Infrared Spectroscopy(IR).The results showed that the capsule wall material was silica.Using biological microscope,transmission electron microscope,Malvern laser particle size analyzer,etc.,the performance of 9.5% horseradish capsule suspension was studied.,The results show:Capsule shape is nearly spherical.The average particle size of the capsule is about 228.50 ± 1.73 nm.The effective content is 9.51%,the encapsulation rate can reach 77.90%.The suspension rate can reach 96.40%,and the dispersibility is excellent.Capsules are generally stable in hot storage but good in cold storage.The relationship between the cumulative release rate of AITC crude oil and capsule suspension agent and time was analyzed using the chromatography bag method.The cumulative release rate of AITC reached 97.87% in the 15 th hour.However,the capsule suspension reached 77.72% release within 7d.Horseradish capsule suspension has good sustained-release performance,which can effectively extend the holding period of the preparation.(4)In indoor weeding experiments,it has been proven that horseradish inhibited dicotyledonous weeds significantly higher than monocotyledonous weeds.Among them,it has the best inhibitory effect on seed germination.Compared with acetochlor EC,there was no significant difference in the inhibition effect of horseradish on germination of Amaranthus retroflexus L.seeds.Therefore,the homemade horseradish capsule suspension has a good herbicidal effect on A.retroflexus L.
