Application Of Free Tie Dye And Pile Embroidery In Fashion Design

In the context takes the traditional culture of Bai Tie-dye and Miao Pile embroidery as the resource,and referring the research and development of ethnic handicraft clothing products of "Village Story" from Guizhou Danzhai which is a famous intangible cultural heritage protection enterprise.Base on the design concept of "the fusion of ethnic characteristic craft and modern design" of the brand,our focus is on the combination of dyeing and embroidery craft.Taking the patterns of Bai tie-dye and Miao Pile embroidery as the inspiration source.This paper investigates and excavate the application status and development trend of them.Through the research of literature and material object,the cultural connotation,craft technique and pattern characteristics of tie-dye and heap embroidery are analyzed.Designed three different kind of clothes with traditional colors and fashion sense via market research analysis and comparison of pattern selection,pattern reconstruction,process optimization,material selection etc.The purpose of this paper is to show the beauty of crafts through integrating the traditional regional characteristics and delicate sense with “bas-relief” style clothing pattern.So that we can enrich the expression form and artistic language of costume design,and make traditional handicraft live in the present through innovation and practice.
