Compared with other transportation methods,mine belt conveyors,with significant advantages such as stable transportation structure,strong continuity,long distance transportation,and low energy consumption,have been widely used in the production and transportation process of modern coal mines.However,the complicated terrain of the coal mine underground causes limitations in the installation of belt conveyors,making coal dropping during the transportation,which would affect the normal production if the accumulational coal is not been handled in time.In order to solve problems concerning coal mine production and safety management caused by coal dropped in the transportation lane,a multiwheel float coal cleaning and transfer device for a mine belt conveyor is introduced in this paper.The device draws on the structural characteristics of the bucket-chain conveyor device and uses a combination of multiple wheels to finish the float coal cleaning and transfer work.This paper studies the key structure of the new device and builds its structural model.Meanwhile,it studies the dynamic system changes during the operation of multi-wheel chain drive system and establishes a system model of the device by using the rigid body finite element method(FEM).The KelvinVoigt model with typical viscoelasticity is selected to represent the chain unit while the chain drive system is divided into several units to establish an integral FEM of the system.Then the MATLAB/Simulink software is used to establish a dynamic simulation model and make a dynamics analysis of the new device’s chain drive system.By establishing a system simulation model,the simulation curves under typical working conditions are obtained,which provide a certain theoretical basis for the system design and research of the multi-wheel float coal cleaning and transfer device.This paper combines the actual situation of the transportation lane and the size parameters of the belt conveyor to devise a cleaning equipment that can transfer coal in the transportation lane to the conveyor,which also solves the problem of high labor intensity,low efficiency and large number of personnel in manual spade cleaning.
