Study On Form Design Of Furniture For Chinese Villas

As a typical figure of wood technology,architecture and furniture with Chinese traditional characteristics are uniform in their patterns and structures,with its unique artistic taste and aesthetic image everlasting.With the help of the symbol extraction and refining of Chinese style villa,we know that the best way of inheriting this spirit is to learn from and develop the essence of Chinese-style furniture.Through analyzing the relationship between Chinese traditional villa-matching furniture and counterpart villa,this article has explored the semantics of the design of Chinese villa and applied the methods into the design project of Guotai villa furniture with the help of the trend of new Chinese furniture and computer modeling.First,there is a systematic introduction to the source,purpose and significance of the research.Through collecting literature and sorting related resources,this article expounds on the domestic and foreign situation of Chinese villa-matching furniture in the aspects of the natural environment,economy,humanity handcraft,etc.On top of that,it proposes that the study of the structure,patterns and style of Chinese villa and corresponding symbols can be applied to the design of the matching furniture.Secondly,a brief analysis of the relationship between the villa-matching furniture both from home and abroad and the style of villa is conducted to find out the design and creative points of the furniture.And then the unity and creation of furniture form design and characteristics of the villa are analyzed.Based on the cases analyzed,the author analyzes in detail the Bernard Guotai Chinese villa.Starting from the color elements,form elements and detail characteristics,we aim to find out the design inspiration and source of the form design of the villa-matching furniture in the process of designing,and to enhance our knowledge and understanding of Chinese architecture.Finally,the design project of Bernard Guotai Chinese villa furniture is analyzed,so as to produce a more beautiful,functional,durable,cultural heritage of Chinese villa furniture.
