In recent years, the state has put forward 2025 requirements of intelligent manufacturing, and the major iron and steel enterprises have developed and promoted a large number of scientific research achievements and products. The application of scientific research results and the product oriented project are often faced with more risks because of many difficult problems and wide range. This paper is aimed at the application of scientific research achievements and risk management of product projects in iron and steel enterprises, taking Baosteel new 3,5 and 6 continuous casting thermal inspection system as an example. In this paper, the risk factors at all levels of the project are identified by expert interview and field investigation, and the risk assessment model of the project is established. An expert group used the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and the 19 scale method to get the weight matrix of the 22 comparison of the risk factors at all levels.Through the verification and calculation, the weight of the risk factors at all levels is obtained. The risk rating of each risk factor is calculated by combining the expert group's probability score of each risk factor. The result of the calculation is that the risk of target risk is higher in the first class factor of the project, the financial risk is rated as low risk, and the other is rated as general risk. Finally, each risk factor is dealt with according to the risk rating.Based on the research of this proj ect, this paper puts forward the way of combining analytic hierarchy process and expert scoring to solve the problems of risk factors and risk assessment in the application and product projects of iron and steel industry.
