Glufosinate is a nonselective herbicide with broad herbicidal spectrum,high efficiency and biodegradability.As the second largest transgenic crop-tolerant herbicide in the world,glufosinate is only behind glyphosate.The market prospect of glufosinate is widely optimistic with the continuous promotion of glufosinate-resistant crops.?-Bromoketone is a valuable building block for the synthesis of many natural products and it is also a basic intermediate in many organic synthesis.?-Bromoketone is widely used in modern organic synthesis,such as alkylation of bromine,synthesis of heterocyclic compounds such as imidazole and thiazole.Therefore,it is particularly important to develop a rapid,highly selective,green,and easy method for synthesizing ?-bromoketone.In this paper,a new synthetic process of glufosinate was designed,and the synthetic route of glufosinate was explored and optimized.The route is valuable to be used in industrial that raw materials are cheap and the reaction conditions are mild.As it needs the synthesis of ?-bromoketone in the synthetic route of glufosinate,we have explored and optimized the synthesis process of typical ?-bromoketone,which has a certain research basis.The paper is divided into the following sections:The first chapter have summarized that the synthesis methods and applications of ?-bromoketone,and it introduces of glufosinate and its synthesis process.In the second chapter,the synthesis method of ?-bromoketone was studied.Optimizing the reaction conditions and post-treatment conditions was to obtain the best synthesis conditions.?-bromination of five typical ketones such as ?-butyrolactone,dihydrochalcone,t-butyl acetoacetate,1,3-cyclohexanedione and acetophenone.In the third part,the newly designed glufosinate synthesis route has been explored.The target product was synthesized from low-cost 1,4-butyrolactone via bromination,amino protection,esterification,phosphorylation,hydrolysis,ammoniat-ion.The total yield is 21%.This process has the advantages of warm reacting conditions and low cost which is valuable to be used in industrial.The fourth chapter characterizes the important compounds in the synthesis route of ?-bromoketone and glufosinate by nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry.The chromatogram of the compound is confirmed against the standard spectrum in the literature database.The fifth chapter summarizes the synthesis process of ?-bromoketone and the synthesis process of glufosinate.
