Glufosinate is the organophosphorus un-selective herbicide that developed an industrialized by German Hearst(now is called Bayer AG NYSE)in last century with the advantages of high efficiency,low toxicity and good compatibility with environment.Glufosinate can almost prevent all the one year and several years’ weeds,so it is a new-type herbicide that has broad application prospect.In recent years,among the un-selective herbicides in top three global sales,paraguat was banned due to its high toxicity.Because of the long-term large amount use of glyphosate,its resistance to weeds is obvious.As the replacement variety of paraguat,glufosinate has huge market demand potential and good development prospect.Gufosinate hydrochloride is the key intermediate of compounding glufosinate,therefore,it plays realistic meaning in the industrialization of glufosinate.Based on summarizing the organophosphorus herbicide of glufosinate synthesis,this article adopted a path that is suitable for industrialized production to compound glufosinate hydrochloride.By taking triethyl phosphate and phosphorus trichloride as raw materials,Gufosinate hydrochloride can be obtained through methylation,Arbuzov,hydrolysis and Strecker reactionIt emphatically reviewed the synthesis process of methyl diethyl phosphate and glufosinate hydrochloride,including the influence of factors such as the raw material mole ratio,temperature of distribution droplets,holding temperature and holding time on reaction yield.Meanwhile,the industrial optimization design is carried out according to the process determined by the experiment.By using the analysis method of gas chromatography,mass spectra,nuclear magnetic resonance and liquid chromatography,this article implemented purity determination and structural characteristics on the compound intermediate and product glufosinate hydrochloride.Under the condition of optimizing process,the total synthesis recovery is 55.4%(count as phosphorus trichloride)and content is96.2%.Compared with literature report,the process condition it adopted has the advantages of high product yielding,easy operation,low cost of raw material and moderate conditions;thus,it has good industrialized application prospect.
