Modular Design And System Development Of Functional Sofa

Production costs are reduced,production speed is improved,products and services that meet the individual needs of customers and the diversity of market segments are offered with the modular design.Modular design conforms to the current market competition environment of furniture products and is the inevitable trend of furniture enterprises’ development.This article is aimed at the modular design of furniture products.Taking functional sofa products as a specific research object,in-depth study of the design method of modular function sofa.The design method of the traditional sofa has been improved and the theory has been improved,and the software platform of the modular design of the sofa has been developed and supported.The main tasks are as follows:Firstly,the modular design method is studied.The modular design method has been applied in many industries.The functional sofa is a relatively new industry,and the modular design method is introduced in combination with the characteristics of the functional sofa.The functional sofa modular design are studied and the functional sofa modular design is proposed.The parameters of each component module of the functional sofa are processed to optimize the function sofa design.Secondly,the functional sofa product level module division method is studied,a modular design system for functional sofas is proposed.Including the overall division of product modules,the classification method of sub-modules,the connection method between modules,and so on.The functional sofa is divided into different functional modules,and the interface between the modules and the connection manner between the modules are determined,so that the functional sofa products can be quickly combined on the basis of the completion of each module design.Then,the functional sofa component level modular design methods were studied.Decompose and classify further from each sub-module.Using the principle of similarity,the similar parts in different sub-modules are summarized,the module structure of the part layer is sorted out,the parameters of key parts are determined,and the key parts are parameterized.Thereby,the rapid parameterized design of the components is realized,and the coding,BOM,selection criteria,design standards and process flow in the modular design method of the functional sofa are improved.In the end,the software platform is being developed.The software platform mainly includes two parts,firstly,the functional sofa module library,the component library and various design knowledge bases are established,and the modules of the functional sofa are managed in the form of a database;secondly,the configuration design and variant design of the functional sofa are realized.On the basis of the software platform,the main structure of the functional sofa is established,and the classification,retrieval and management of the functional sofa product level module and the component level module are realized,and the modular design of the functional sofa is supported.Through the development of the software platform,the design cycle of the functional sofa product is shortened,and the design efficiency is improved.Modularity has positive implications for the entire furniture industry,this paper combines functional sofas for modular design research,which is a kind of exploration and expansion of modular design methods.It laid the foundation for a comprehensive modular design for the future furniture industry.
