With the development of economic globalization and the continuous progress of science and technology,customer’s requirements for products become more personalized and diversified,and the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce.In this context,enterprises need to reduce production cost,shorten delivery time,and ensure product quality while satisfying the customer requirements.The traditional mass production can not meet the need of enterprises,and the mass customization has already become the mainstream mode of production.In the key technologies of the design for mass customization,modular design and product configuration design technologies can offer the personalized products that meet the market quickly.Therefore,this dissertation studies and explores the key technologies in modular configuration design of machine tool product for mass customization.The major contents include:(1)The relationship between product configuration,product modular design and mass customization is analyzed and studied,and the product configuration methods for mass customization are summarized.On this basis,a modular configuration design process of machine tool product based on case is proposed.For the knowledge representation,frame representation method is applied to the representation of machine tool product case.The machine tool product case library and module case library are established by using Access.(2)The characteristics,acquisition ways and classification method of customer requirements are analyzed and studied,and a processing flow of customer requirements is proposed.To solve the problem of fuzziness and uncertainty of customer requirements in product configuration,an analysis approach based on the grey rough model is presented.Based on this method,the customer requirements can be converted into technical characteristics effectively and the influence of human factors can be avoided in the conversion process.In addition,an optimization decision model for product planning is established to help the enterprises select the key technical characteristics under the constraints of cost and time to serve the customer to maximal satisfaction.Furthermore,based on this optimization decision model,a computer-aided system is developed using MATLAB GUI to assist the product configuration design.(3)A new case retrieval approach that combines the self-organizing map and fuzzy similarity priority ratio method is proposed in case-based design.In the proposed approach,the self-organizing map can reduce the retrieval range and increase the retrieval efficiency,and the fuzzy similarity priority ratio method can evaluate the similarity of cases comprehensively.To ensure that the final case has the best overall performance,an evaluation method of similar cases based on grey correlation analysis is proposed to evaluate similar cases to select the most suitable case.Furthermore,based on the proposed methods,a computer-aided system is developed using MATLAB GUI to assist the product configuration design.The actual example and result on an HTC series machine tool product show that the proposed method is effective,rapid and accurate in the process of product configuration.(4)A module partition method for machine tool product configuration design is proposed based on the sum-up and analyses of module partition principles and methods.A computer aided module partition system is developed by using MATLAB GUI to facilitate the designers.In addition,the module coding method and module retrieval strategy are provided,and a general process of module retrieval is proposed,which can obtain the most similar module effectively.(5)By analyzing the combination characteristics of horizontal type machine tool product,a configuration route of each module is determined.Configuration constraint and rule among modules are analyzed and studied,which can ensure the effectiveness of module selection.An optimization design method based on GA is proposed to optimize the structure parameters of machine tool spindle,and it acquires good effect.A parameterized variant design method based on the secondary development of UG is presented to modify the modules according to the customer requirements and optimization results,and expand the module case library.(6)A product data management method based on Teamcenter is discussed to solve the problems of large amount of product data and configuration rules.The import and export of modular product assembly,product structure management and product configuration management are studied.Combined with the machine tool product,a brief application and description of the provided method is given. |
