recent years, the increasingly serious ecological and environmental problems have seriously threatened the survival of mankind and restricted the development of our country's economy. Therefore, the call for a green economy has increased. In order to cope with the current environmental problems, our country has made the concept of "green" one of the five development concepts in the 13 th Five-Year Plan, which shows the importance of green development in our country. The Chinese government guides the transformation of high-energy-consuming industries to green production modes through the allocation of funds, thereby giving play to the role of financial institutions in the sustainable development of the economy. This article mainly studies the differences in the impact of green credit on economic growth in different regions of our country.First, analyze the development status of green credit in China from the aspects of green credit scale and green credit system development;second,it explains the theoretical basis of the impact of green credit on economic growth;then, this article applies to the whole country from 2010 to 2017(except Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)The data of 30 provinces are analyzed by static panel analysis and system generalized distance estimation model(GMM).The empirical method is used to test the impact of green credit on the economic growth of Chinese three major economic belts.Through analysis,it is concluded that the impact of green credit on the economic growth of all regions is positive, and it has the greatest effect on promoting economic growth in the eastern region. Finally,it puts forward relevant suggestions: play the guiding role of the government, strengthen the support function of financial institutions, and increase the participation of enterprises to promote the development of green credit.
