Research On Cheongsam Redesign From The Semiotic Perspective

As the carrier of oriental aesthetics and traditional culture,cheongsam is a representative symbol of Chinese clothing culture.In the international environment where western clothing occupies a mainstream position,it is the most important proposition of the era for today's cheongsam designers to speak for the local culture.Based on a semiotic perspective,this paper analyzes the design characteristics of modern cheongsam,the influencing factors of redesign and the basic conditions of redesign,and initially establishes the model system of cheongsam symbol and redesign method,and discusses cheongsam from a new perspective.The thinking mode of product development and design,in order to better grasp the characteristics of cheongsam in design.First of all,based on the reading of a large number of domestic and foreign literature and related professional books,the article sorts out the semiotic theory,the origin and development of cheongsam,the style elements and cultural connotations of different periods,etc.and clarifies the relevant concepts of semiology and cheongsam.According to the application of semiotics in the design of cheongsam,the semantics of the extension layer and connotation layer of cheongsam in semiotics,as well as the form of symbolic semantic propagation in the design process of cheongsam are analyzed;Next,the author uses the semiotic research paradigm to analyze the design characteristics of modern cheongsam,mainly through related cases to summarize the application characteristics of modern cheongsam design collar,slits,buckle,placket,materials and colors,Which provides a factual basis and case basis for the redesign research of modern cheongsam later;Furthermore,through an online questionnaire survey,it is concluded that lifestyle,consumption concepts,cultural concepts,etc.are the main cultural influence factors of modern cheongsam redesign,while discussing from the aspects of traditional and modern craftsmanship,cheongsam element aesthetic rules and national cultural needs The basic conditions for the redesign of modern cheongsams have been developed,and a set of cheongsam symbol system has been drawn up,and the coding,coding,color,pattern,material,emotion,function,symbol and other symbolic coding elements in the symbol system have been interpreted in detail and summarized.Modern cheongsams redesign method program model;Finally,under the guidance of 'the above-mentioned cheongsam symbol system and redesign method program model,combined with the redesign concept,the theme of "Santan Yinyue" was launched to carry out the design of scenic work uniform series and leisure series design.,Animal,architecture,culture,color and other thematic symbol elements are organized and extracted,so that the extracted symbol elements can be refined and reconstructed.I hope that through the design practice,we can design improved cheongsam works that meet the cultural atmosphere of the times.The design of cheongsam in the future will play a certain role of reference and innovation,and will enable the practical application and guidance of semiotic theory to be embodied.
